Cookie Policy
Effective July 16, 2026 · Version 2026-07-16
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — such as browser local storage, session storage, and pixels — store or read information in a comparable way. We refer to all of these collectively as “cookies” in this policy. Cookies may be set by AtlasHire (“first-party”) or by the third-party providers that help us run the Services (“third-party”).
2. How we use cookies
We use cookies to operate, secure, and improve the Services. The categories below describe why we set them and whether they are essential to the Services working.
Strictly necessary (always active)
These are required for the Services to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. Blocking them will break sign-in and core functionality.
- Authentication and session. Set by our identity provider to keep you signed in, associate you with your organization, and maintain your session across pages.
- Security. Short-lived state and nonce cookies used to protect sign-in and third-party connection flows (for example, calendar and applicant-tracking integrations) against cross-site request forgery, and to detect abuse.
- Load balancing and reliability. Cookies that route your requests and keep the application responsive.
Functional and preferences
- Remembering your interface choices, such as light or dark theme and layout preferences, so the app looks the way you left it.
- Retaining non-sensitive settings that improve your experience.
Analytics and diagnostics
Where enabled, we use a limited set of cookies and similar identifiers to understand how the Services are used, to measure performance, and to diagnose errors. We use this information in aggregated or de-identified form to operate and improve the Services; we do not use it for advertising.
3. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by the subprocessors that power the Services — for example, providers of authentication, cloud hosting, real-time audio/video, and error monitoring — when their functionality is used. These providers process data under contractual obligations, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not control cookies set by external sites you may reach through links in the Services.
4. Interviews, recordings, and monitoring
Cookies are used to run the interview experience (for example, to keep you authenticated in a session). Interview content — such as transcripts, code, and any integrity signals a Customer chooses to enable — is described in our Privacy Policy and Data & AI Use Policy, not this Cookie Policy. The organization that invited a participant is responsible for any disclosures and consents required for those features.
5. How to control cookies
Most browsers let you view, manage, block, and delete cookies through their settings, and set preferences for first- and third-party cookies. You can also use private/incognito browsing or clear stored data at any time. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in or use the Services. Because there is no industry-standard response to browser “Do Not Track” signals, we do not currently respond to them. Where required by law, non-essential cookies are used only with your consent or the Customer’s, and you may withdraw that consent through your browser controls.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time as our use of cookies changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the Effective date above, and your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance. Questions about cookies can be directed to privacy@atlashire.ai.
